Oxford Guide To Plain English

The wind of change ... Goodbye, Larry. WikiLeaks

In these days when Wikileaks Julian Assange and focus the attention of the free world, both in detention and, finally, the founder release as filtered through the wires, in a time when barriers freedom of expression are the furious attacks of the powers and secrecy, in which the diplomatic and informational paradigm crumbles and the first Great War Network escapes, a legend of old journalism leaves the microphone.

Larry King, journalist with the talk show over time in the history of U.S. journalism, announced its withdrawal from the scene after of an historic race. For its program have gone 8 U.S. presidents and their last show, two (Clinton and Obama) got fired, and other presenters of shows from the competition. King's farewell was emotional, it was obvious something was going to be after so many years doing the best interviews in the world.

Here are his latest entire program.

Is this the sign of change in the paradigm of journalism, as symbolized by a generational shift? Wikileaks Has it changed the way we do journalism and has won the new torch?

seems strange that two things happen in such a short period of time. At the end of a year, too.

Anyway, bye, Larry. And thank you for your interviews.
